Was born 1975 in Manizales, Colombia. Studied Film Production at the International School for Film and Television (EICTV) in Havanna, Cuba. Took part in an exchange program of the camera department at the University of Applied Sciences Dortmund, Germany and was Fellow of the film departemt at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. Has worked in several short films as producer, scriptwriter and cinematographer, as well in the experimental documentary „Looking for Fidel“ as cinematographer and coproducer, and the feature film „The things between us“ developing the film project and advising the general state of art. Lives and works in Berlin. RESIDENCE PERMIT is his first Feature Film as director.

1975 geboren in Manizales, Kolumbien. Er studierte Film Produktion an der Internationalen Schule für Film und Fernsehen (EICTV) in Havanna, Kuba. Er absolvierte ein Austauschprogramm in der Kamera Abteilung der Fachhochschule Dortmund und war Mitarbeiter im Fachbereich Film der Kunsthochschule für Medien in Köln (KHM). Arbeitete als Produzent, Drehbuchautor und Kameramann in verschiedenen Kurzfilmen, sowie der experimentellen Dokumentation „Looking for Fidel“. Für den Spielfilm „Die Dinge zwischen uns“ war er für die allgemeine technische Beratung und die Entwicklung des Film Projektes zuständig. Victor lebt und arbeitet in Berlin. AUFENTHALTSERLAUBNIS ist der erste Spielfilm in dem er Regie führt.

Nació en Manizales, Colombia, en 1975. Estudió Producción de cine en la Escuela Internacional de Cine y Televisión EICTV en San Antonio de los Baños, La Habana, Cuba. Atendió un programa de intercambio en el departamento de Cámara de la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas en Dortmund y fué Fellow en el Departamento de Cine de la Escuela Superior de Artes para los medios de Colonia. Ha trabajado en diversos cortometrajes como productor, guionista y/o director de fotografía. Coprodujo y fué director de fotografía del documental experimental italo-americano “buscando a fidel” y desarrolló el proyecto para el largometraje alemán “las cosas entre nosotros”, donde también trabajó como consultor durante todo el proceso de realización del proyecto. Vive y trabaja en Berlin. PERMISO DE RESIDENCIA es su primer largometraje como director.

Was born 1975 in Pereira, Colombia. Studied architecture in the National University of Colombia. Is a plastic artist and illustrator with expositions in the most important Colombian cities. Lives and works in Bogotá, Colombia. His collaboration with RESIDENCE PERMIT as visual art director is his first work in the field of filmmaking.
